Welcome to Whatcom County!

We know how difficult it can be finding a new physician whether it be due to a change in insurance plans or a recent move to the area.  The transition is especially difficult when it comes to finding a medical clinic that you and your family can feel comfortable with, and also have complete confidence in.  You want the best patient service and care for your family but are not sure where to go find it.

Our clinic consists of five family physicians, Dr. Brian Patterson, Dr. Roger Sharf, Dr. Milan Banjanin, Dr. Michael Hughes and Dr. Robert Sperry.  The group also employs four Physician Assistants and four Nurse Practioners each of whom are here for the purpose of practicing the best quality of medicine.

The physicians and staff of Associates in Family Medicine are dedicated to providing quality services for thousands of families like yours.  We have been providing medical care to the Whatcom County and the Bellingham community for over 40 years and pride ourselves in a flexible appointment schedule and extended hours.  Our clinic is open 6 days a week, offering regular evening hours so that you may receive care when you most need it.  Also a physician is on call 24 hours a day and can be reached through our main number in the case of emergencies.

Quality service also includes a secure web-based system, the Patient Portal, which enables you to communicate with our office and access portions of your medical record.  The Patient Portal also allows you to view your lab results, print your personal health record, request an appointment and/or a referral, view your statement, and submit questions to billing.
