Dr. Roger E. Sharf

It is my honor and a privilege to serve my patients.  My team and I are dedicated to provide outstanding quality medical care by being thorough, thoughtful, knowledgeable, cost-effective, and compassionate. A problem solver by nature, I excel at identifying the problems that bring people to the doctor and solving those problems efficiently and compassionately. Good medical care requires establishing rapport and trust, qualities I hold in high regard. Patient perspective and feedback regarding how my practice can best serve the needs of families are welcomed and encouraged.

Prior to my training in Family Medicine, I completed two years of General Surgery residency. This has added considerable value to my practice by being able to provide exemplary care in the management of surgical problems within the scope of Family Medicine.

I grew up in eastern Pennsylvania.  I am a father to two wonderful children.  I am passionate about the outdoors and love to exercise, hike, hang glide, mountain bike, ski, snow board, wind surf, and kite board.  I enjoy reading about physics and other sciences.  I have a reputable record of public service during my years in Bellingham, having served on several boards, and committees dedicated to enhancing the quality of health care delivery in Whatcom County.
